[PEDA] Protel 99se errors!

Dusan,
	One item that is known to have caused numerous faults for some people is their AntiVirus software. Make sure that your AV is not running on file opens and saves. Scanning incoming emails etc. is fine but any number of people have had problems if it is scanning files while accessing them or saving them.

Hi,

one year ago i installed protel 99se on AMD 1100 machine and it works
perfectly even now. For the last few months i was working on a AMD 2500+ and
now on AMD 3000+ and somethimes i'm getting errors:

1) when i'm opening a pcb:

"Format '%x' invalid or incompatible with argument."

After this i have to restart protel and open pcb again. Somethimes it
happens a few times in a role.

2) when i'm trying to do annotate in schematic or sch->pcb synchronisation:

"Access violation at address 40067324 in module 'Vcl50.bpl'. Write of
address 0000014C."

After this i have to uninstall protel, clean registry up and install it
again. Then it works for a few openings and happens the same again.

Any similar expiriance?
